\n\t\t\t\t\t\tOne can start their tour from the most recent history and visit Agia Fotini. It is a unique church that has already entered the mythology of Arcadia, although it was built in the 1970s. It is located directly opposite the archaeological site of Mantineia. It is one of the most important cities of the entire ancient Greek area. In Gortsuli place there are traces of the prehistoric city. Mantineia was a commercial and religious center of all Arcadia with pan-Hellenic reach. \n\t\t\t\t\t\tThe journey through the history and legend of Arcadia continues with a visit to the Acropolis of Nestani. In a mild and beautiful landscape the Arcadians worshiped the Great Mother, the goddess Demeter. The Acropolis of Nestani with the well-preserved gate of the ancient wall and the ruins of the ancient tower shows with its size the importance of the whole area. Actually, Nestani, being right on the junction that connected Arcadia with Argolis, was a very important commercial area. That is why Philip the Macedonian himself visited it. The Fountain built by the great soldier is also preserved. The acropolis is built with theoretic stones and is one of the oldest found, of Pelasgian origin.\n\nOn the rock of Goula there is the important church of Panagia Gorgoepikou. It is a meeting point for Arcades everywhere, but also for visitors, at the great festival of Panagia. The Rock was a large sanctuary, clearly prehistoric. The entire area of \u200b\u200bNestani holds the mysterious color of an ancient history. Just 15 kilometers from Tripoli, this quiet and well-preserved village, with its wonderful square, is our modern version of the eternal Arcadia.\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
