\n\t\t\t\t\t\tThe archaeological site of Olympia includes the Sanctuary of Zeus, with the temples and buildings that were directly related to the cult, and various buildings that were built around it, such as sports facilities that were used for the preparation and performance of the Olympic Games, auxiliary buildings, utilitarian and administrative, as well as buildings of a secular nature.

Altis, the sacred grove, occupies the central part and within it the core of the Sanctuary develops, with the temples, the treasures and the most important buildings of the area. It is separated from the surrounding area by an enclosure, which at the end of the 4th c. e.g. it had two gates on its west side and one on the south, while its boundary on the east is the Stoa of Echoes, which separates the sacred space from the stadium.\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
